About

A middle-aged married man living in a small village in Northamptonshire with my Husband and Whippet.

Often to be found in the garden just pottering or digging up things I shouldn’t.

A varied career from working in theatre both front of house and backstage, and for a few years on stage too, a Leith’s trained chef and winner of the Laurent Perrier Award 2003 working in restaurants, as a private chef and eventually owning my own Deli & Coffee Shop. I ended up creating digital learning for a major fashion retailer and have been doing that for nearly 15 years.

The creative process has always been a massive part of my world, through theatre, photography, cooking, art and gardening, it’s always had a part to play and has been a major part of everything I’ve done.

Writing isn’t new to me either, my play Rainy Days & Sunshine was performed back in the 1990’s and was in the final eight of the Verity Bargate Awards for new plays. It’s just taken me a while to pick up the pen again and start getting what’s in my head down on to paper. This blog is a place for me to just practice and put some things down to see what happens.
